Flavour Bomb Mince Wraps
These mince wraps are scrumptiously tasty and healthy, and super quick to make!
INGREDIENTS:
500 g Mince.
1 Tbsp Olive Oil.
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (I use Changs Tamari Light soy sauce - Gluten Free) *Feel free to taste as you cook and add more. I never measure, just throw in a splash, then taste and add more as I think it needs.
½ - 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil - again, I guess, so do as much or as little as you prefer.
½ tsp Moroccan Seasoning - or to taste.
1 tsp Mixed Herbs - or to taste. (I use a pre-made dry mix)
Whole Lettuce leaves, one for each person.
Chopped Tomato
Chopped Avocado
Chopped Lebanese Cucumber
Grated cheese.
Kewpie mayonnaise - or one you love.
Salt and pepper - garnish if you choose.
METHOD:
Heat a frypan on a gentle heat and add the olive oil.
Add the mince and stir until it is mostly cooked.
Add the soy sauce and the sesame oil. Stir.
Add the Moroccan seasoning and the mixed herbs to the meat. Taste test and add more of each as you choose.
Prepare the whole lettuce leaves on plates for each person.
Chop tomato, avocado, and cucumber.
Grate cheese.
ASSEMBLE:
Place the grated cheese inside the bottom of the lettuce cup. *Really, the order doesn’t matter, but this is just how I do it because it allows the cheese to melt.
Spoon mince into the lettuce cup, on top of the cheese.
Add tomato, avocado, and cucumber.
Add mayonnaise (and salt and pepper - garnish).
Wrap the lettuce leaf around the outside of the mix. Take a big bite.
And Enjoy! xo
