I absolutely loved this book. I adored Book 1 in the series: Sheep Gully Road, so returning to this beautiful small town felt like coming home to old friends. FIVE STARS.

Any story with an unruly dog and a vet with soul, not to mention good baking and coffee on the side, is a given to win me over. Laurelle weaves her knowledge of true country life through the pages of her story, which results in the odd tear or two (plus laughter) to the table as you read. Her characters are loveable and realistic, the plot keeps you engaged, and you find yourself thinking about them all well after closing the back cover. Cant wait to read your next ones Laurelle!

Ms Cousins has established herself as one of my must read authors of authentic and realistic Australian rural fiction, with an emphasis on the main female role being strong and sassy and the male, good looking and determined. I highly recommend, and a big FIVE STARS from me.

Another fabulous read from one of my favourite authors, I love the way MS Cousins can make me feel I am in a shearing shed I can hear the shears going and the talk among the workers and I loved meeting LJ and Poppy and the team from Take Two Shearing I loved this one from start to finish. MS Cousins brings all of these wonderful characters to life on the pages makes everything so real, it is moving, emotional and heart-warming and truly I felt it all. FIVE STARS.

Rushworth Country Series

A story about expectations, loyalty, loss, grief, guilt, playing it safe and not taking risks, and having the courage to let go of the past. Tilly and Nate step up, living the life they want with fingers and toes crossed together. I want to move to Rushy. I highly recommend and I’m very keen to read the next book in the Rushworth Country series about Brynn. FIVE STARS.

This is a fabulous story that had me smiling, cheering them on and tearing up with happy tears, I loved Nate, what a hero, and Tilly-strong determined and a bit stubborn, and Kevin the emu-he is so good. And what can I say about the community of Rushy? Saul, Pearl, they are all so good and help make this story one not to be missed. Come along and see what happens with Nate and Tilly. I loved it and highly recommend it. Can’t wait for book two. FIVE STARS
