Just About In Pieces

Holding on tight

You know that feeling, when you’re only just holding on by a thread as the things around you prop you up?

This little shed reminded me of that. Its structure is there but it wouldn’t take much to fall flat. I remember when we bought our land and the front fences all needed replacing. The wires that were holding up the posts!

Sometimes we’re standing up but if a prop is tugged away, someone will be playing pick-up-sticks with us.

There isn’t a day I’m not grateful to be here. Granted, it may be a little (or a lot) harder to say that when the days are trying my socks off, but I know I’m pretty darned blessed to have my loyal family, loving friends and our lifestyle where I get to live what I love, even if it does get a little wobbly at times.

What do you love most about where you live?
